Janine Abraham was a French designer working in the post-war period, known for her modernist approach to natural materials. In the late 1950s, she began collaborating with Dutch architect Dirk Jan Rol, creating a series of rattan and metal furniture that combined fluid lines with structural clarity. Their work is closely associated with the optimism and material experimentation of mid-century French design.
