Portobello Dom with its wonderful wavy detail is the result of an exclusive collaboration between Maud Vaughan and Hampshire based design studio Fox and Furb.
As with all of Fox and Furb's designs, this stool is entirely handmade locally in Hampshire; the solid steel frames are crafted by a local blacksmith and then powder coated in a choice of ivory or black.
For the upholstery we have chosen a soft, naturally stain resistant cotton-linen in a selection pared back neutral and earthy tones which can be paired with piping in either matching or contrasting colours.

The stool is 70cm tall making it a perfect height for most kitchen counters and islands. The seat is cushioned and 38cm wide. (A shorter 50cm table height version is coming soon)
Please note this bar stool is available for pre-order with a lead time of 6-8 weeks (shorter when possible)
Shipping:
The cost of UK mainland shipping is £35 per stool, you will be invoiced for the cost of shipping additional stools. For international shipping please request a quote.
VAT: there is no VAT charged on the stools.

UK DELIVERY
Small items are dispatched within three days of order and sent via FedEx or Parcelforce.
Larger or more delicate pieces are delivered via courier and typically arrive within 1–2 weeks of order confirmation.
If you require an item urgently, please do get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate your timeline.
DELIVERY COSTS
UK delivery costs are confirmed at checkout. As a guide, specialist courier delivery for furniture typically ranges from £55–£95, with medium-sized delicate items such as mirrors £35–£45. Small items sent via FedEx are charged at standard parcel rates. Courier delivery is quoted for one-person delivery to ground floor level.

COLLECTION
Free collection is available by appointment from our studio based in Ockley, Surrey.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES
We offer international delivery. Shipping for smaller items is calculated at checkout. For larger pieces, where delivery is not quoted online, please contact us for a bespoke shipping quote.
Please note, MAUD VAUGHAN is not responsible for import duties or taxes that may be incurred outside the UK.
RETURNS
If your purchase does not meet your requirements, we offer a full refund of the purchase price (excluding transportation costs), provided the item is returned in its original condition within fourteen days of receipt.
Items stored with us for more than two weeks are no longer eligible for return.
PACKAGING
Where possible, items are delivered packaging-free, carefully wrapped in protective blankets which are removed on delivery. Recyclable materials are used wherever practical.
