Flemish Patinated Brass Ceiling Lantern - Belgium C.1920

A fine quality early 20th-century pendant light featuring an acorn-shaped frosted glass shade with an etched botanical pattern. The shade is fitted with a decorative cast brass cap and original hanging hardware, including a decorative bird (likely an eagle) at the chain connection. 

The pendant originally hung in a merchant's townhouse in Bruges from where is was sourced.

Condition:

All elements are original and remain in very good conidition. Natural patina and some light wear consistent with age.

The item is wired and fitted with a brass bayonet bulb holder. As with all electrical fittings, please ensure it is checked and installed by a qualified electrician.
