A handsome pair of midcentury Brutalist (bedside) cabinets by Tobago, Canada, circa 1975. Constructed in walnut veneer, each cabinet features twin doors with sculptural ‘Brasilia’-style relief panels, showcasing deep curves and elliptical forms typical of North American Brutalist design. The doors open to reveal practical storage, one with interior shelving. Elevated on recessed plinth bases, these cabinets combine bold architectural detailing with warm walnut tones, representative of 1970s Canadian modernist craftsmanship.
