A midcentury Swedish elm desk by Torsviks Sågverks AB, Härnösand, 1930s–1940s.
The front is arranged with a cupboard, a central lockable drawer and an open shelf to one side, while the reverse is fully finished, allowing the piece to sit comfortably within a room. To the rear, a cabinet with internal shelving sits alongside an open bookcase section, providing practical storage for files and everyday items.
The construction is clean and functional, with simple sides, discreet joinery and short, tapered feet that lift the form slightly from the floor. The cupboards are fitted with a white circular handle and key escutcheons. The proportions make it well-suited to use as a desk or dressing table, combining storage and workspace in a single, considered design.

Fully restored. The surface has been refinished to bring depth back to the elm veneer while retaining the integrity of the piece. Presents with a calm, even patina, ready for use. Supplied with the original key.

RETURNS
Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is returned in its original condition. Transportation costs are non-refundable.
Items stored with us for more than two weeks are not eligible for return.
